About NicDroid

Nico Guarte, professionally known as NicDroid, was born and raised in Makati. A musician by profession, Nico brought the non-mainstream style of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and Hard Dance Music (HDM) to the Philippines. In his public appearances, NicDroid is well-known for donning ‘Troll Commander’ and 'DroidFace' masks. Aside from his music career, Nico is also a content creator, and an old founder of the Tech and Geek website ‘The NerdDroids,’ to express his geeky love about the things that shaped his identity, both in and outside the music world. The Philippine (Music) and Gaming Community hailed NicDroid as “The Philippine deadmau5.” Nico started his music career in 2009 as a hobbyist music producer and became notable with his fan music for a fandom. Nico also pioneered the Hard Dance Music in the Philippines which is rarely known in the country. NicDroid produces music for Southeast Asian Record Label ‘Crystal Empire Records.'
